Announcement
Tuesday, June 17th, 2008Go here. That is all.
Well, it’s time for the MLB to something else to change baseball around. Guess it’s just that time of the year… Pitchers reported to Spring Training a week ago. Position players are due in this week or next. Steroid allegations are soon to start, I’m sure. Interestingly enough, instead of cleaning up their players’ endocrine system, they’re going to help clean the sweat off their brow…
Looks like MLB is getting new caps. Guess that means that I need a new St. Louis Cardinals cap. This one’s pretty cool. I never saw that before. My birthday’s on Saturday if anyone’s reading this blog. Otherwise, oh well.
Well, it’s that time of year again. I’m participating in the Special Olympics Polar Plunge on February 24, 2007 (my birthday). It’s going to be down at Joe’s Crab Shack, just like it has been the last few years. I’ve set my fundraising goal to be $600 for this year again. Donations were slow last year, so I’m hoping people will find a little extra pocket change to throw at it this year. If you want to donate, go here and give what you can. Remember, this is for the Special Olympics and if you donate through the website, I believe that the donation comes out immediately so you can claim it on your 2006 taxes.
Thanks for thinking about helping out, and if you’re interested in participating in the Plunge this year, feel free to give me a call and you can join Team UPS!
Well, it’s official. My favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals have finally won their 10th World Series Championship. Congratulations to the city of St. Louis, Cardinals fans, and especially the players on a hard fought (and sometimes difficult) season. We’re all very proud of you.
